Y Kant Tori Read was released in 1988 and included fellow band members – Brad Cobb, Matt Sorum, Tori & Steve Caton ( Steve Caton was to tour with Tori later in her career and is featured on many tracks pre Strange Little Girls).

The album was a commercial failure and was ripped to shreds by the critics. Tori has widely commented on this period in her life that she wasn’t being true to her music and one of the most notable lyrics in “The Big Picture” even state ‘ no one really owns the merchandise’.

“The Big Picture” was released as the single and had a subsequent video.
